1 edit | Canopy 900 distance issue I am working on setting up a Motorola Canopy 900 network. I can have the SM unit register if I am within a half of a mile from the AP unit. If I go over it I am not able to connect. Dose anyone have any ideas. I have the Max Range set to 30 Miles. What should I check next? |

| What kind of Antenna are you using on the AP? Vertical or Horizontal polarization, and how high are mounted? |

Sorry for the late reply. I have been on vacation.
We are unsure of the polarity. The AP units have a H stamped on the lower left corner.
One is located 100 ft. on a tower on an 1080 ft. mountain with our 2.4 equipment. The other is located on the roof of our office at about 40 ft. off the ground. |
