Re: westell 6100 stopped connecting to internet Was the D-Link router recently added, and was the Westell working correctly before the D-Link was added? BTW the Westell 6100 is a modem that has routing capability, but it's not a router. If the D-Link was recently added, the problem may be in the router and modem configuration.
I had an AT&T router which I read was nearly identical to the D-Link, and I was unable to get full connectivity with my Westell modem in router mode, and the only way I could get it to work correctly was to configure the Westell modem in bridge modem and enter the PPPoE info into the AT&T router. You might try that if your modem and router are setup similar to this. |
