Sprints official stand is "tethering is not even possible" with Everything Data. No one to my knowledge has ever been "caught tethering" with an Everything Data plan. |

Go to your members account page and open your profile. The MSL is there. Without the MSL you can't do a ##RTN or ##DATA on that modem I did not know this. Now I do..

| reply to Jack_in_VA Hmm. I've had only one experience with Sprint Customer Service, and that was after Dennis called them and had them contact me. I agree, the experience was nothing like some of the complaints I've heard about from others. -- Windows XP Pro SP3 / Windows 7 64bit RC|AMD Phenom X3 8650|Asus M3N72-D Motherboard|4GB Patriot PC2-8500 1066MHz RAM|EVGA GeForce GTS 250 1GB Ram Superclock Edition |

| reply to dMarks Could be, but I've used Sprint customer service 3 times now with no problems. The problems have all been Sprints that would impact their direct customers also. Issues that Millenicom would not have any control of or ability to resolve. I might add my experiences with Sprints customer service was nothing like the negatives I've seen posted on this forum. I think it's all in how the customer interacts with them . |

I learned early on that physical problems with the service is to deal directly with Sprint. Wasn't there a member on the Sprint board here who did exactly that and got reprimanded by Millenicom for it? | reply to birdwatcher said by birdwatcher :Wow, I'd like to know how many are actually happy with their new unlimited? What are your speeds? I am happy with mine. I have got about the same speed as the Verizon card was giving me - 500Kbps to 1.2Mbps depending on where I am at and time of day (number of users on tower). |

| reply to my2k2zx2 I think it could be possibly two things that could cause your problem. One is the modem crashed. The other is you no longer have an active account with Sprint through Millenicom. Possibly the "unlimited" that you thought you had through Millenicom was more than Sprint was willing to tolerate?
Millenicom only sets up accounts with Sprint. Sprint actually makes it happen. I learned early on that physical problems with the service is to deal directly with Sprint.
I also know from the prior Modem Virus with the CDU-680 that all was needed to restore service was a new account with Sprint and new MSID and MDN numbers which I put in the CDU.
Get your active user name for the account and MDN number from the CDU device info screen and call sprint wireless help. |

I'm calling again this evening to see if I can get an update if its not working. |
