It looks to me like there's something going on between you and your first hop. So, open a DOS box and enter the following command:
ping -n 100 rback18-g1-0.hstntx.sbcglobal.net >c:\ping.txt
Then post the last four lines of the file that was generated (c:\ping.txt).
