Re: WB won't load one particular website (ours)!

There is another possible solution which is to use a proxy at one of the other Wildblue gateways. It is more convenient than using a web based proxy. I need to know which spot beam you are using to give you suggestions. It would be helpful if you would post the URL of your site, so we can try loading it from our computers and report the results back to you.

Spice300, I'm using Firefox 3, found the advanced settings for network in preferences, where I had the "No proxy" option checked; switched to the "Auto-detect proxy settings for this network," with no change.
Since you have a LAN you will need to change the proxy setting in your router.

Over on the WB forum (Wild Blue World) it's been suggested I try openDNS and report the findings. I'll be doing this in a little while (have to head back to the office). Hope it's no offense to be posting on that thread (two-timing?) as well —don't seem to be overlapping much.

Our website's www.hasslerdressage.com.

How can I tell what "spot beam" we're on?

Thanks, Spice300,

Paul

I can probably figure out your spot beam if you tell me the ZIP code where your dish is located. Since you got WB 18 months ago, you are probably using the satellite WB-1.
