Just an fyi, the power button doesn't really do anything except send a black screen to the tv set, if theres problems you really just want to reboot it (press both volume buttons and the info button all at the same time on the front of the box).

I never had the black screen issue, but I did have a problem once where when I clicked play, it would play the show that was listed after it in the dvr list, while displaying the info for the right show. Rebooting fixed that one too. Never happened again after that.

this is the first time this has ever happened, i was watching a recorded show with my Scientific Atlanta HD DVR, when it ended i chose another one but the video was grey but i could still hear the audio. i selected a different recorded program, same result, i then started going through my channels an all of them are grey with audio both HD and standard w/ the black bars still appearing on the sides of standard channels.

i turned it off an back on, same result, so i rebooted(unplugged 10 seconds, replug, let it do its thing, 10 minutes later...) everything is fine now.

has anyone else had this happen, i google searched an didn't find anything about this bug/error. nor on this site either
