I found a cool new page.
DSL Line (Wire Pair): Line 1 (inner pair) Downstream Rate Cap: 7040 kbps Downstream Atten. at 300kHz: 50.1 dB
Uncancelled Echo: 26.6 dB Suspicious - check phone filters and alarm VCXO Frequency Offset: -23.9 ppm Ok Final Rx Gain: 21.4 dB Ok Impulse Noise Comp. Tones: 45 Suspicious - impulse noise detected Excessive Impulse Noise: 0 Ok Impulse noise protection: 2.76 Delay of latency path: 15.95 ms

| If the problem is STILL present even at the NID (You plugged it directly into the test jack, right?) then aside from a potentially faulty DSL modem, bad grounding somewhere or a bad phone cord, the problem is on AT&T's side.
As for the impulse noise, anything from a bad dimmer light to bad grounding somewhere can cause this issue. -- ISP: CableOne 3 mbit/300 kbit |
