If you have, turn it back on, reboot your computer and re-attempt the uninstallation of the old version of Adobe. Windows Installer does not run in Safe Mode.  I never knew programs could not be installed/uninstalled in Safe Mode.  <br><br>I just tried to start the Windows Installer Service in Safe Mode and got a 1084 error.  Also tried to uninstall Adobe Reader 9.1 and couldn't because Windows Installer wasn't running.]]></description>

Could not open key:<br>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Class\Interface\(46B89F5A-769D-4792-AD9A-E3755915CB3}\TypeLib<br><br>Any ideas?  Thanks!]]></description>
