Why do you want to uninstall? Would you consider an alternative program? I use Foxit reader for all my pdf files, and it's free

Champaign, IL		 I'm trying to update from Adobe Reader 9.0 (currently installed) to 9.1. Running the 9.1 updater and attempting to uninstall 9.0 from the Control Panel give the same error mentioned above.

Thanks for tip about Foxit; I may give it a try.
