| Keyboard does not respond Ok this is weird im trying to install a new copy of windows xp, and boot the image from the cd. My keyboard responds during startup, I can enter the bios, but when it asks to press any key to boot from cd, my keyboard power is gone, and I cant select it.
I tried installing windows again clicking on the setup file from windows itself, but I want to replace my old version, and when i try to delete the partition it says it cant because it has files on that partition needed for the install. I assume thats because it is installing from windows itself, because i cant boot it from the cd. Can anyone help? I have no idea why my keyboard wont respond just when it asks to press any button to boot from a cd. | |

I have no idea why, I just use a different one and all goes well.
