<description><![CDATA[tlhIngan posted : I guess the big difference is the 160NL has the Atheros chipset, which has a far more "open" set of drivers than the closed-source Broadcom chipset previously used.<br><br>As in, Atheros has promised open source drivers, and some have already been released. This allows any Linux to actually follow the latest kernel releases, rather than be limited to what Broadcom provides.]]></description>

The OpenWRT people seem to be salivating over the design, electronic design that is (physically it has all the appeal of a soap dish) so if can be done they will likely be the first to port a working firmware.]]></description>
