Samba help

I have 2 shares on a linux box - exec and financials.
The smb.conf has this:

They are identical. The permissions for each of the folders is identical as well.
I can map the exec share on a windows machine with no problem. But when I try with the financials, I get the network path cannot be found.
I am scratching my head here. I can not find what the problem is.

I take it that by "The permissions for each of the folders is identical" you mean both folders have the user/group to match the user/group specified in the shares, not each other.

OK.

So I started over creating users and only having the home shared. This worked fine for the first one, but subsequent folders are not found.
I have exec which I successfully mapped on 2 windows machines.
I have financial which mapped fine on one, but the other is not found.
I have public which is not found on either.

All of these are "users" that were created with their folders created in /home.
