After my last post I started trying different values. My first one tried worked!  After the connection was up the UI showed that this signal is associated with Covad. The values I used (so that it might help others in the same boat) were 0/35. I really appreciate the time you took to point me in the right direction. It's great when stuff works!

| I suspect that if you had turned on the Netopia modem's "Autosensing" function, the modem would have learned the required parameters for your connection.
