He is using SMC8014W-G wireless cable (crap-)router. And probably doing dual NAT, since SMC is in router mode. Torrents get forwarded properly through Linksys, but SMC stops them altogether.
I would try putting SMC to bridge mode, if possible at all (disable DHCP?) I used to own SMC hardware and it froze under heavy load every day. Man, I wouldn't have given away Motorola. All I hear is that people have problems with that SMC router.
Aren't you paying more rental now for that "SMC wireless networking" thing? I think it was like $5 a month or something... |
