I've used magicjack for a while now and for the price it is good (more since my PC keeps running the whole day anyway).
However, when my parents needed one, I decided to get them an ATA with callcentric.com since it is cheap if you don't make too many calls and they don't need the PC to be on (or re-plug MJ dongle if PC is restarted).
