BTW, the attachment uploaded and previewed just fine, but never appeared in the forum. My point is: there may be something going on and some postings are not making it to the intended forum. I've never experienced that same condition before... without getting some kind of error message. So... maybe, there's something weird going on in the system. It was no big deal for me, so I didn't question it at the time, but it seems not to be an isolated incident so I offer my 2 cents now.

I know because I checked many times during the weekend. The longest I saw any post wait was 2 hours and 40 minutes, which was this morning when I logged on early and I guess no mods were around prior to that to approve it.

Perhaps the posts were made and the system lost them somehow, in a place they weren't visible to anyone to approve. Perhaps there's another explanation.

I check frequently during the day to see that anon posts aren't sitting for very long. I've seen very few delayed over 10 minutes.
