Modems that are Non pay disconnect have synch and pick up a disconnect boot file.
Just for info, ISP's actually hate to roll trucks for a billing issue, if it was turned of on purpose they would have told you.

2 edits | Just what Hob above stated. Pick up a new modem, have Time Warner set the new modem to your account if needed and see if you can get internet again. If the modem's PC light is on and it won't sync one bit with the cable system, and the sync lights and such are not blinking, there has to be a hardware issue with it, that going with the Power light maybe being out/a different color than normal. I know that with my DSL modems, if there were a bootup problem or a piece of hardware on the modem were to fail, the power light would turn red and the modem would not boot. For no sync, power would come on, Ethernet would come on, DSL would just keep flashing. For no Authentication or Failed Authentication, Internet light would be out, or for failed, it'll be red. -- It's all fun and games in a Team Fortress 2 battle until your sentry gun is sapped by the Spycrab! |
