Re: charter moxi box Everybody's waiting for Charter to introduce the new Moxi (black) into more markets, the old silver ones seem to have quite a few known and reoccuring flaws... and they're getting old in general.
No "new" silver ones are being used anymore, broken ones get replaced with refurbished ones, broken ones get refurbished and re-introduced into the circle... and so on. They're constantly getting replaced, sometimes they even replace broken ones with broken ones (unknowingly) because they weren't properly repaired in the shop. This is what the tech told me who replaced my defective Moxi HD-DVR on June 13th.
As far as I know the new black Moxis are currently only available in MO and being tested in WI, no clue which states are next on the list.
