Is this happening in a particular forum? Is it happening at a particular time of day or night?
I check frequently during the day to see that anon posts aren't sitting for very long. I've seen very few delayed over 10 minutes. At night I don't check, so the times may be longer due to fewer mods being online. |

| It'll be easier and better if we just stick to the reported problem than if we get into back-and-forth arguments about anon posting. We're going to allow anon posting. It has just been delayed to let us keep up with increasing spam. If there are problems with the delay that aren't known to us, we need to know them. |

| Based only on empirical observation, it has appeared to be taking longer lately; at least, in the past week or so that "moderator at work" message has been place-holding longer than I remember.
(I've been coming here since 2000--read mostly, posted some; didn't join for years--no particular reason why not, just no reason to... till I finally did--it just makes some things easier.
Anonymous posters... more power to 'em. They're no worse than some other posters who are members--except for those spam-bots.) |
