I will have to look around on how to do that! -- If you have a topic in the direct forum please reply to it or a post of mine, I get a notification when you do this. 1 edit | reply to Gbcue said by Gbcue :Why bother filtering your water? Unless you need low mineral content water. Municipal tap water is plenty clean! I do not know where you live but my water smells like chlorine from the other rooms while tap is running. My water is brown sometimes but usually always yellow. I get the quarterly water reports and there are a lot more in the city water then minerals. I also do believe the reports, but, thats me.
The filters in fridges and britta's and pur filtered pitchers are charcol filters and generally only remove some minerals and some chlorine. reverse osmosis is the best bet for store bought units that go under the sink but generally do not stop all mineral and all chlorine but no other stuff like arsenic and parasites. Best bet is whole house filtration and a reverse osmosis and the (forgot name) UV light that kills all bacteria.
My dogs get britta pitcher water cause if they use tap water they get urine infections within one day and blood in urine. That was my cue to never ever put that crap in my body ever!
