He actually sent a tweet while he was stuck on the runway in the plane. Notice he doesn't even mention being hit on the head. I can only assume that since he didn't mention the blow to the head, he must not have considered it that big of a deal.

Having watched Pitchman since it comes on after Mythbusters and having an interest in inventions, I thought the show was good and Billy seemed like a decent guy - which was not exactly what I expected having watched his commercials in the past.
Too bad to hear about the news. I'll miss Pitchman since I'm guessing that will end. Billy did most of the pitches and the show probably won't be the same without him. |

You know it will happen but it would be seriously stupid to allow a lawsuit. Hi wife was quoted as saying he didnt feel well before going to bed, what kind of idiot doesnt know if you get hit on the head and then dont feel well you go to the hospital ASAP.
He probably had a fractured skull if the hit was as hard as they said it was. If not the least a very bad concussion.
Lawsuits in the US are just crazy stupid. How can the airline know the tire was going to blow out. I mean when your tire blows out in your car and you get hurt are you going to sue the manufacturer? |

It'll be interesting to see if the plane landing contributed to his passing. The way he boasts in all his commercials I gotta think he had very high blood pressure. I know, it's a book by it's cover assumption. |
