said by mattmag :Anthony Sullivan. He was actually Mays' business partner, and the co-star of the Discovery Channel show " Pitchmen". Not sure how many episodes they have already filmed. Yeah that guy. Couldn't remember his name but saw the Point & Paint commercial just this morning. |

| reply to Jon I didn't realize Patrick Swayze was in such failing health.
quote: Diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer in January 2008, he is publicly battling the disease. He claimed to Barbara Walters in January 2009, that he is "kicking it".[1] He is the lead in an A&E TV series, The Beast, which premiered on January 15, 2009. However, due to a prolonged decline in health, Swayze has been unable to promote, or even appear in the series. On June 15, 2009, Entertainment Tonight reported that the show has been canceled.

| reply to marti Billy Mays was a loud pitchman (Oxy Clean, The Awesome Auger, Mighty Putty), but Ed McMahon was really dedicated.
Once, Johnny was holding a bottle of beer as he was introducing a Budweiser commercial. Then, it slipped out of his hand and-crash! Next thing, Ed was on his knees picking up the broken glass. Johnny quipped- "Are you licking the floor?".
Another time, Ed was doing a live Alpo commercial, but the dog wouldn't go near the food, like he did during rehearsals. So, Ed got down on his hand and knees, crawled over to the bowl of dog food and barked.
As Billy might've said, that's awesome!
Too bad Ed and Johnny's funniest stuff isn't shown on TV. Mark F. |

| reply to Shamayim You could be right, it was quite a while ago. Still, we've lost two great pitchmen recently.
But, maybe the larger-than-life guy in the Extendeez commercials will have a mishap that gets him off the air? Or, the annoying Kevin Trudeau? Or, the shamwow/slapchop guy? Mark F. |
