AT&T has never been known for stellar customer service, but it'd be hard to be worse than Charter. The channel choice, from what I can gather, is about the same as the digital package from Charter; but, the ability Uverse gives to watch DVR recordings in rooms other than the one you recorded them in is a huge plus.
