Philly is a hodgepodge of older General Instrument (now Motorola) and Antec 750 MHz gear. There are some 860 actives out there, but since the system is patchwork (heck even some MDU's have old GI 550 MHz junk), it's a nightmare.

Comcast is seeding the region with DTA's. After a few months of this, some analog channels will be eliminated and you'll see the HD explosion.
