Re: Choppy video when streaming fullscreen

Open Task Manager and see if the processor is maxing out when it happens.
Does it happen when you are not full screen?
Newest graphics driver?

Laptop you say - is there any power management happening?

Odd that it doesn't happen when not full screen. Shouldn't matter...

hulu, huh?
hulu desktop or the website through a browser?

EDIT: Here on this T2500 2.0GHz laptop, hulu desktop in full screen cruises at about 90% on both processors(88 - 92%).

It was hulu trhough a browser, but its not limited to just hulu. Try it on the networks streaming video pages its the same thing.

In fact, the only one that seems to work in fullscreen is youtube...

NBC, USA, CBS all choppy.

I'll get the other computer out in a bit and snap a screenshot of the task manager.

As I said it was a new laptop last week, but I'll grab the other version for IE also.
