Thanks Norman. I got up this morning to find that I had no internet again! I unplugged the modem, plugged it back in, and had a connection again. The is modem (probably two years old) Motorola, style MSTATEA.
I changed the DNS settings per your advice in the router.
Strange that things would be happening now if it was the router settings. -- Team Discovery |

In any case, though I have never had trouble with the ATTIS DNS servers, some in AT&T Midwest, and Nevada, have apparently had troubles. You might temporarily try third party DNS servers, either Level 3 (pick any two: 4.2.2.1, 4.2.2.2, 4.2.2.3, 4.2.2.4, 4.2.2.5, 4.2.2.6), or OpenDNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220). OpenDNS does not report a proper NXDOMAIN error, unless you sign up an account with them, and configure the account in their "Dashboard". But as a temporary test, it should be fine. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

I can hope that this solved the problem ....
