Re: 18MB service no longer offered?

Bumped to 25mbps?

Is that only in select areas right now, or is it coming later like in August?

I literally called yesterday to test the extreme plus (signed up for a month to see if it is worth it) and I only get 18mbps (max download speed of 2MB/sec)

They are definitely still offering it and have bumped it to 25Mbps. See »Re: Rogers to offer 50 megabit service for $149.99 for more info.

I live in downtown Toronto and get "We are sorry Rogers Hi-Speed Internet Extreme Plus is currently not available in your area."

It was available a few months ago. My tests wouldn't yield more than 14Mbps. I wasn't very impressed so I dropped back down to Extreme. I think my node is oversold.

Extreme Plus is still mentioned on one page ...but no pricing etc.

I suspect, given its price they didn't get many takers.

I just noticed that Rogers website is no longer listing the 18MB service. Has this been dropped?

Seems the fastest on Rogers is 10 - yuck...
