It's fixed and hasn't gone back down since I first posted. If your problems continue you need to start troubleshooting as per normal.

If you're waiting for inbound email there's a little bit of a queue in delivery as a result of this morning's event. It's clearing up now.

I called earlier and informed the support woman that we use Exchange here with our business Cogeco package with mail.cogeco.ca as a "smart host" (relayer). She insisted it wasn't working because we're using mail.cogeco.ca and that won't work - despite the fact that we've been using that for years, and it resolves to the same address as smtp.cogeco.ca. She wouldn't listen so I gave up in frustration hoping the problem would sort itself out. It has.
