Dlink needs to earn my trust again. The latest 655 beta firmware's and the inability to downgrade to a more stable version have made me cautious about recommending them.

I switched to the Apple Airport Extreme and it has been very solid but is limited in the amount of control you have over firewall rules.
They can't fix the problems with the different chip set makers they use Uni-bla and Atheros just now working! Bad move to use different ones for wireless should have stick with the same brand but Atheros not stable. Even it they did that. Ralink works prefect and Realtek Gig Switch Controller with 832KB is very fast and stable. That chip is showing up more in these routers. So let DLINK use Ralink for both NPU and WPU to make life better for us all.

No they can't fix the problems of the chip set maker but they need to prove they are making better decisions and at least offer a firmware that works with the chipsets they have sold.

I got a couple of Atheros chip set firmwares that a crap. Beyond the Dlink I don't this was a good idea to use them.
