Sound stopped working

Rob A posted : Today when I went to use my desktop running WinXP Pro SP2, I discovered that the sound wasn't working. At first I figured the wire popped out or something, but everything was connected properly. I clicked on the volume adjustment in the taskbar and was greeted with the following error message (see attachment). I did as it said, but found no drivers needing to be installed? Can anyone help me get my sound working again?
--
Spread Opera!
