Re: Cruise Ship

Thanks! That's what I thought but I wasn't sure... I've never cruised before, so I wanted to double checkl BEFORE I spend a couple hundred bucks on 15 dozen tortillas!

You're kidding about that, right? A couple Hundred bucks???

How long is the cruise? How are you going to keep them from going bad?

I'm actually not kidding... But I'm also not crazy! The cruise is only 4 days, so they will be fine until I get home and can freeze them. Some of them will go to my mom, and some I will keep.

My mom grew up in the southwest in a little border town where she had a lady who always made them for her family. Ever since I was little, she would buy dozens and dozens of them on our annual trips out west to visit family... but since her parents have passed, none of us make it out there often, and it's WAAAAY too expensive to have them shipped. My plan is to bring her back a little taste of home. It's impossible to find the REAL DEAL in SE Louisiana!

Most cruise ships I have been on have a mini-fridge in the cabin. Just don't drink any of the stuff in the fridge, unless you want to pay $2.50 for a can of Coke.

Not anymore, they have "coolers" now, looks like a mini fridge but it isn't. Well at least Disney Cruises. But call ahead to find out, to get one tell them you need to refrigerate medicine, we had to so we got a actual mini fridge in our cabin.
