Computer Hardware ..	reply to aaronfitz Re: [DIRECTV] Self Installation Direct TV Help and Questions As far as I know, SWMLine dishes are the default for new HD installations - this is the Slimline 5 LNB dish with SWM built-in - which negates the need for 2 RG6 runs for DVRs. However, it's a good point - it would be well worth the time to speak to the installation company (NOT the DirecTV CSRs - they're not knowledgeable enough and won't give you accurate information) to specifically request an SWMLine dish - saving you from the 2nd cable run.
