ok all fixed so not to bad, I have to stop calling them it just pisses me off and it appears to not help, they fix it when they fix it.

this is my experience when calling in to Time Warner tech support as well. Now, I just grab my netbook and get a coffee at Wegmans cafe where they have free wifi.

Out the 10BaseT, through the modem, down the co-ax, over the fiber, across the backhaul, past the edge router, off the network...nothing but net

About 10 min. ago they told me it might be my box, I asked "both of them?" they said Surge perhaps, I said at the same time as net, she said if not working in 24 hours call back, very nice help or yes plus after each sentence she repeted "Is they any other way I can help you to day" At that point I gave up as I would have lost my temper, so here I sit, if I take both boxs back then it will be calls to get auth. and they will say it is down and try in 24 hours, so I will wait but they do suck big time on any service.

1-800-833-2253. Make sure you call from a device/phone/cell other than your TWC digital phone, since well it isn't online.

I called for a credit and received a 1 day credit. The agent was surprised I was back online, as he hadn't heard the outage was fixed. My guess is that the techs are slowing restoring service to the affected area. I have business class internet fwiw.

I woke up to no internet access as well, at about the same time, according to the logs on my firewall. According to a pre-recorded message at the tech support number, there is a large outage in the Waterville area, due to fire damage. I assume there was a fire at the TWC headend in Winslow.

One of these days I wish I had a second internet connection, other than my slow blackberry data service.
