Yes absolutely. I did it this morning. The longest part will be to find out which of your extensions are now incompatible and visit the extension "store" to find out the new things.

I like it!

The date on that file is 6/24/09, which makes me wonder if it is the most current?

Edit: The FTP site says permission denied.

It's live now - I just grabbed it over FTP. The file date matches the RC3 build, for Mac anyway, which is expected.

It seems like a real improvement. The installer is identical to the RC3 installer with a 24 June digital signature.

For compatibility, I had to get two add-ons from the developer's sites. All working fine here so far.

I am LOVING 3.5, only thing is amongst some others, my tinyurl creator extension wasn't compatible, & I couldn't find any other URL shortening add ons that didn't put an icon in places I didn't like.
BUT! I found an updated version of tinyurl creator here:

Ok, I caved. I am so weak....

Had to use Mr. Tech to get some add ons working, but haven't had time to see how it runs yet or what the memory use is like.

edit: to add got it via internal updater.

Reviewers out in full force. And on the speed increase in FF 3.5 the word is that Chrome & Safari still beat it.

Mr Tech makes my No Squint option appear compatible but the Extension sure doesn't work.

I uninstalled Version 3.5. I need No Squint. Plus my Close Tab buttons don't show cause I think TabMix Plus is not operating properly.

Version 3.0.1.1 works great. Once all the kinks in 3.5 is settled I will reinstall.

Sorry to hear that, all of my incompatible add ons are now working because of Mr. Tech. I know it doesn't work on every add on, but it's sure worth it to give it a try.

It did not work for me at all. MSNBC, SI, and others just would not load at all. Uninstalled, reinstalled 3.0.11 and it all works perfectly again.

It may work for you guys, but it totally failed for me.
