Internet goes down and stays down, T3 timeouts

I have over the past 3 weeks internet down every few days. I see in the cable modem logs T3 timeout. It does not come back by itself. I have to power off on modem in order to work again. I took the router out of the picture and also all spilters in the house. Just straight cable from outside. Also the levels are normal for the cablemodem I have checked them several times.

Thanks
Chris

frequent T3 timeouts indicate noise in the cable plant between you and the headend some place.
It will cause erratic operation - we pages may not load correctly or have to be refreshed - slow speeds - disconnects - stalls - etc.

noise will cause it but so will cable faults your levels could look fine but you could have a bad piece of cable in the plant or the drop to the house.
