If I am understanding you correctly, the WAN IP is 192.168.254.1 and the router LAN IP is 192.168.254.250.
Sorry, but that is not going to work, and is the cause of your problem. The WAN ip needs to be on a different subnet from the LAN ip range, or otherwise the router will not route.
If your plan is to just extend the same LAN as your other router, and perhaps add a second SSID, then you should consider setting up your dlink as just as AP (access point) instead of a router. join:2009-06-29 Schenectady, NY | ive done this and it appears to be an access point disabled dhcp on 2nd router and all internet works. now im trying to get on xbox live but am having trouble. |
