Re: Road Runner NYC 100 MBPS?

What modem are you using? Can you post a screenshot of the speed test. Check other speed test sites as well.

»speedtest.nyc.rr.com/

It goes UP To 100MBPS in the Speed test. Previously it was 20MBPS tops.

Reason for it being updated is Docsis 3.0.

patt2k's modem and screenshot are irrelevant.

Anyone can go to »speedtest.nyc.rr.com/ and see the 100Mbps.

It previously was 20Mbps as patt2k said.

Those who subscribe to Docsis 3.0 when offered will have the higher speed tiers. Such will require a higher price and a modem swap.

As to when this happens, my guess is its being rolled out as we speak and will show up shortly. I wonder if it will be a market by market rollout or whatnot. Such appears to be in play for the NYC market.

I am on Earthlink Cable. It also shows the 100Mbps.

My connection is lagging really bad today. Hoping for 100Mbps and hoping for better peering to go with it.

Im not sure what the modem diagnostic stuff means but I know no connection is perfect.

Docsis 3.0 should hold a better connection I would hope.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood your post. I thought you ran a speed test and it showed 100Mbps. I didn't realize the site is showing maximum speeds of 100Mbps.
