Re: Really need help Governments are increasingly using eminent domain on pee ons to take their property away. Heck the excuse sometimes now used is simply they can generate better taxes by giving it to some one else. Too bad it wouldn't be financial viable for your town to seize all the the telecommunication lines equipment from AT&T under the same reason they could provide with the profits gained from it better phone and dsl services. Maybe even offer it to a competitor that would promise these services. I'd sooner sitting on jury would vote for that then using it for a new hardware store or to just generate more taxes. |
