The best 4th ever for me. Did a fireworks show for about 120 people and this was the first time I got to use a remote firing system and it worked out beautifully. Pictures do not do it justice and no, the building is nowhere near as close as it looks in these pics. |

I'll amend my plans. Traveling across the foot bridge to a cookout at Skip's Retreat (Massena's newest saloon, owned by friends.) then to the annual July 4th Antique Car Show and Block Party, which is Downtown on Main Street. If I could only find where the heck I packed my camera, I'd take pictures. There's usually a couple hundred lovely vintage cars and trucks. Some real beauties. The Massena Fire Dept. serves up a big chicken BBQ and hot dogs, hamburgs, corn on the cob, etc. A friend's band will be playing on the steps of the Town Hall, and they close off all the Downtown streets to traffic. Big hometown Block Dance. |

Just celebrated Canada Day, as we're on the border, but no plans for July 4. Gonna be working and settling into the new house. Yippee. Well, may go out to a local party and watch the fireworks, and see the antique car show, but that's it. |

Have to work on mandatory OT due to the fireworks display in my area. It's about a 18 + hour day for me. But I have the best seat in the house during the display. |
