Re: Docsis 3 available in Philadelphia (the city itself) Any Philly (city corps - 9565/1691/9513 on your bill) users hear about D3 rollout today? I'm planning on getting a D3 modem and signing up on Friday...don't know what I want though, the 22mb Ultra Speed or the 50mb Extreme speed.
It's fully launched on South and West Philly, with Northeast not fully complete. I CANNOT WAIT to check this out....finally, Comcast! |

My area of Philly center city (9565 on the bill) still does not appear to have D3 rolled out. I have had channel bonding (blue light) on my SB6120 for nearly two months, but the "new" speed tiers are still not available for my zip (19146). It seems like everything is set to go, so I am not sure what the holdup is. Anyone have word on the Philly center city area? |

I'd say give them a call to see if it's here - and make sure you're talking to someone local (either N.E. Philly call center or New Castle). I read that it was mentioned in yesterday's inquirer, but I haven't asked if any CAEs can process a D3 order.
I'll check tomorrow if no one does tonight and see what else I find. |

He said that the new D3 speeds are not yet available in my area and I should check the Comcast webpage to see when it is available. He didn't seem that knowledgeable, so I would be interested to see if you have a different experience. |

I'm going to PM you what I know so far...I don't want to mention it in public other than Comcast strikes me as making this more sketchy than it needs to be, but that is because I am still in the dark about a few things. So check your PMs. |
