LGA775 (Socket T) HSF installation question

I recently purchased an OEM E5400 and an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro HSF.

This combination is replacing a Pentium D 925 and a Cooler Master HSF. It's not much of an upgrade but, believe it or not, it is an upgrade.

My question is this: the old CM HSF has screws that go into a bracket that is mounted from beneath the motherboard. This new HSF has nylon pins. Do these nylon pins just expand after being pushed through the holes in the motherboard or is there a different bracket that needs to be mounted under the motherboard?

Yes, just remove the old backplate. The Freezer goes on the motherboard bare.

Thanks! I thought that's what I needed to do but I wasn't positive. I guess if something else was required AC would have put it in the box with the Freezer!
