Been having intermittent to complete outage since mid last week. Many calls to tech support did not help and ended us telling me there was a major outage. Why didn't tell me in the beginning without going through all the troubleshooting steps, everytime?

I tried to power cycle the modem and see if that fix the issue. Every power cycle leave the modem with all solid lights, and blinking from time to time. Had an small outtage and big slowdnw just a little while ago again (at 3:15am-4:10am). Was out for a few minutes at first, then slow. Actually in the middle of downloading some things and was using all my bandwidth at 1.2Mbps+ (10mbps) before it went down, then dropped to a staggering 20-25Kbps (150-200kbps) or so, but now seems to be getting back to normal.

Now that the Fastsoft LA test site is not available people run a speedtest from a different site and see their poor download and wonder what has happened. Nothing has happened. You always had poor download in the evening but the LA speedtest site at Fastsoft INFLATED your download.

Run a few tests using a local speakeasy or download a large file from an ftp site that has a big pipe.
