Unlocked Phone

If I buy an unlocked phone and bring it to a major US carrier (at&t or verizon) are there any features that the carrier provides that I would not be able to use on the unlocked phone?
--
(1) It's either 99¢ or $0.99; not .99¢ (2) It's "so MUCH fun" not "so fun"

u can only use a unlocked phone with Tmobile or ATT they do not make unlocked CDMA phones.
