With Tracemonkey is there a need for Java anymore?

As the subject asks, do we need java on my XP box anymore since Tracemonkey is active and is firefox's Jave engine? If not I will uninstall it since firefox is the only browser that I use.
What do you think?

Java is not Javascript (which is what tracemonkey is used for). They just have similar names. So, yes, you still need java.
