Re: Why is IE8 the absolute worst at the acid3 browser test? Perhaps that's the magic of open source (Safari & Chrome use WebKit). IE's rendering engine is somewhat an integral part of Windows and some commercial software may run or require it, so they also have to keep compatibility, no other company has to worry about such things with their browsers. |
