Re: Share a wireless connection via LAN? If you want to use a router as a repeater you would have to use a third party firmware like Tomato. What router are you using, and if you can go more into detail into your setup. |

| can't do WDS repeater unless the serving WiFi device is configured cooperatively. Not sure the OP is using an authorized WiFi connection; says Free, but. |

| I can set the wifi router settings too...it is mine...just happens to be at my brothers house next door...the router next door is linksys wrt300n...if i remember right...and the one i have here is a little cheap netgear G router....i can set any of the equipment as needed...just need to know how...thanks for the help guys |
