Need USB KVM(?) Recommendation

drrick : Greetings,

I'm back in the situation where I have two PCs side by side and am in need of a method for switching a USB mouse and keyboard back and forth between boxes. I don't really care about switching the DVI signal, as my monitor has an easy selection method for its multiple ports, and I'd rather keep the cost down. The mouse I'll be switching is a Logitech G5. I DO use it's advanced features. The keyboard is a Logitech G11, and I DO NOT use its advanced features.

I've poked around Newegg but thought I'd check here for a bit more... well... technical opinion from people who may actually have experience with such products.

I'm not entirely sure how the USB portion of the KVM works--does it supply a signal to both machines at the same time as to not trigger a USB disconnect?

Thanks for the help.

:D Rick
--
Soy el dentista!
