New Wedding Themed Channel In August

No, it's not BBC America, it's a new wedding themed channel from Cablevision due in August

Just when I thought they could not come up with a better waste of bandwidth. Makes you long for ala carte programmnig. Watch the charges go up to support this new channel.

ARGH!

If anyone at Cablevision is listening, nobody wanted this channel. It will just end up splitting up the same content from WE into another channel. C'mon guys, give us BBC America, Discovery Health and LMN already.

They're too preoccupied with their "blame-storming" sessions to listen to us.

ps For those who have not seen them, they are some very funny commercials.

As long as this P.O.S. is not taking up HD bandwith then good luck to them with that endeavor, they're gonna need it.

I never watch SD unless it is absolutely 100% necessary to see a program on Fox Soccer Channel and the Encore and Starz channels that aren't in HD, other than that I never move out of the 700-800 range.

Good luck with that CV, just don't bother making it HD, the picture quality already blows. Let us be able to at least see when a person smiles or frowns in HD for crying out loud, the blurfest is getting ridiculous.

What was this VOOM? I only recently acquired an HD cable box. I bet it was something good if they took it away.

A wedding channel? You've got to be kidding. I want FOX Business!

They had a channel that showed nothing but old Kung-Fu flicks. I miss that channel.

Reminds me of an old SNL recurring skit that took place in a mall, at the "scotch tape store", which only sold tape.

Who the hell thought the "Wedding Channel" up and how much in kickbacks are they getting for it?

That has got to be one of the most useless wastes of bandwidth there could possibly be.

BBC America, which would be watched by more subscribers, they can't give us, but this they have no problem finding room for.

Dumb.

I don't care about BBC or Voom either, but there's got to be something better than this.

Well, they own this new Wedding Channel, but they should take a hint that nobody else is gonna carry it.

We have all the other Discovery channels, I don't know why we don't have Discovery Health.

I guess it is not surprising that in a male dominated Internet forum nobody sees any use in a wedding channel. I wonder how many 15-25 year old women frequent this forum and how many in general might find a wedding channel interesting. I assume that is the targeted demography.

Not in that age demographic, but I am female and I see no use for it.
