Re: [Blackberry] wireless

What network are you on?

If you want to stick with Blackberry, the Bold 9000 does WiFi, I am on AT&T and it works great. I set-up my home WiFi so that the phone connects through my Router when I am at home. It will then automatically switch to 3G when you are outside of WiFi coverage.

You can also connect WiFi at Starbucks, etc. and there are options to set it up for manual connection so you pick the WiFi yourself, or automatic so it will connect if there is WiFi in the area that is not encrypted.

I also looked at the HTC Fuse which does WiFi (and at the iPhone), but based on overall functionality and the keyboard (touch screen is cool, but for me I prefer actual keys) decided to go with the Bold.

Most carriers have several WiFi phones to choose from, but they are usually the higher end models so are the most expensive.

Unfortunately, no. The storm isn't wifi capable. If you really prefer to have a wifi capable phone, then I would recommend checking out a phone that does. If you go to the store, just be sure to tell the rep that you would like to have a wifi capable phone. Your 30 day trial to trade should be up on the 5th of this month, so I would do something before then.
