[windows hosting] Shared ASP.NET space available

Hey, gang. I've been providing managed reseller hosting as a sideline over the last 10 years for a small number of SMB and association clients I developed sites for. Over the last few months they've all either merged with larger companies or just gone under...leaving me with a lot of available space I've already paid for just sitting there.

If you know someone looking for reasonably priced (NOT cheap), reliable, shared ASP.NET space on an annual basis, contact me privately to discuss the need. It can either be managed (I handle updating, backups, maintenance, technical support, etc., for a fixed annual fee), or unmanaged (the customer does all the work themselves and I only provide free support for technical/operational issues...any maintenance, programming or other work is a la carte at my standard hourly rates).

Basic Specs:

    •Windows Server 2008
    •ASP.NET 1.1/2.0/3.5
    •SQL Server 2005/2008
•MS Access databases (supported for existing/legacy sites but not recommended for new development)
    •SmarterMail domain POP/SMTP/Webmail
    •DotNetPanel
    •DNS zone manager
•Basic shared SSL included; dedicated SSL available for an additional fee
•No charge, live support provided 8AM-6PM ET Mon-Fri; (excluding holidays) for Unmanaged packages (best effort via email other times). 24/7 support included with Managed packages.

Maximum Capacity/Limits:
•up to 20GB disk space (shared between site content, databases, mailboxes, logs
•up to 2TB monthly bandwidth (shared between site traffic, ftp, inbound and outbound email)
    •up to 20 domains, 25 subdomains, 25 websites
•up to 20 SQL Server databases (.MDF and .LDF files limited to available space)
    •up to 20 ftp accounts
•unlimited email addresses/aliases/forwarding/mailbox size (mailbox space can be individually configured, but total concurrent storage used by all mailboxes is limited to available space after other content is taken into account)

My Conditions/Rules:
•Business sites only: Small/medium businesses offering legal goods and services, professional services, professional or trade organizations, advocacies, lobbyists, for/non-profits, or wanting to host web applications
    •US entities only.
•Startups welcome (as long as you have funding)
•NO personal sites, NO P2P/torrents/third-party copyrighted material/warez, NO controversial activism/religious/hate, games, gambling or porn sites, or anything else I determine to be objectionable, illegitimate or otherwise unacceptable.
•Sites must have strong privacy policies.
•Any data stored in the site space containing personally identifiable details or anything sensitive (like SSNs, bank or credit card info) must be encrypted.
•Any email mailing lists or broadcasting of a commercial nature that references the hosted domain name/business (either transmitted through the site's servers or as a return address or link) must be 100% verifiable opt-in with readily accessible proof of recipients' explicitly opting-in. This includes mailing lists you rent/purchase from third parties.
•NO "affiliate marketing," MLM, "get rich quick" or other schemes, scams, phishing, or anything shady
•If I'm not developing or maintaining the site myself, I must review and approve a prospective site.

My base, unmanaged configurations are:
    •10gb disk/50gb bandwidth: $40/mo; $425/prepaid full year
    •20gb disk/100gb bandwidth: $60/mo; $625/prepaid full year

These can be tweaked as needed to a customer's specific needs.

Managed services packages start at $250/month (full year commitment required). Pricing depends on the specific services you require. For example: The typical monthly cost for a fully-managed 20/100 site with daily updating, 4-6 new custom graphics, 9h x 7d on-call support works out to $1295.

If you need a site converted or developed from scratch, my hourly rate for programming is $150 for projects needing less than 80 hours (4 hour minimum).

If custom graphics/visuals are needed, the rate is $125/hr (4 hour minimum).

For projects needing more than 80 hours of work, a flat fee option is available.

All programming and graphics work is done by me or a colleague here in Washington DC...I don't use any offshore or foreign labor. You don't deal with anyone who doesn't speak English or who uses a script.

OK, here are the special deals for my fellow DSLR/BBR members:

I have eight (8) idle spaces available that can each handle up to a full 20GB/2TB site package. They can be carved-up into smaller site packages. I can also buy additional spaces, but I'm only offering deals on the ones I already have.
•$75 off the first year of a prepaid full year unmanaged 20GB site
•$50 off the first year of a prepaid full year unmanaged 10GB site
•$50-$150 off the first 3 months of a managed 10GB or 20GB site
•25% off all hourly development fees for converting or creating your site

(After a little more thought, I decided to extend the following discounts to all website development projects, not just "empty spaces" through July 17)
•$2,500 off a fixed-price project contracted at $25,000 or more.
    •$1,000 off a fixed-price development project contracted at $12,500-$24,999

These are available only to registered DSLR/BBR members, or someone referred by a registered by a DSLR/BBR member (Non-members must indicate the DSLR member name).

This special pricing is available on a first-come, first served basis, and limited to the space I have available as of right now (8x20GB) except the fixed-price development discount (that is good through July 17, 2009).

I haven't offered hosting to the general public before, so if I wasn't clear about something, left something out, or screwed up, please ask or comment here. If you want to discuss particulars for a specific project, IM me so we can exchange contact info and set up a telephone consultation.
